Visualize it
i place a lit candle on a small table, in a comfortable position to gaze at without straining my neck, back, or eyes.
I turn the lights off in the room, i then sit down in front of the flaming candle; bringing my complete attention to the dance of the flame.
As the flame dances, i breathe calmly through my nose while silently observing the flame; thoughts come and go, but my awareness remains fixated on the flame.
After a little while, the distracting thoughts stop entering my mind; i enter a trance-like hypnotic state where i feel completely peaceful, focused, and aware.
I set myself a varied time goal, completing and adjusting it as i progress.
