MOVEMENT meditation

movement meditation can be performed any place, anytime, & anywhere.

To meditate with movement is to become aware and focused on the motion which is occuring in the moment.

become aware of your entire body while grounding yourself in the moment... shush the chatter of the mind and just be.

"you are not the body or the mind. The body and mind are a part of you. Practice observing the nature of the body and mind"

Visualize it

I start my run by walking and remaining aware of my body as it moves... aware of the vibration as my feet make contact with the ground; aware of my breath as it enters and exits my lungs; aware of every single feeling which connects me to life.

I instinctively speed up my walk until I am at running pace. I remain focused on the movement which is taking place, choosing to prioritize the life-giving feelings of comfort or discomfort over the distracting thoughts which attempt to take me away from the moment.

I understand that nothing is more important right now than my run and the awareness that I bring to it. I understand that the focus i can bring to my movement is the focus i bring to anything.

I have a revelation and understanding that even the little things are the big things. from focusing on tying my shoes, brushing my hair, having a shower, cooking food, cleaning, making a million dollar business presentation, etc. all things are just ONE thing and the power i bring to the things which seem 'unimportant' is the same power I will bring to the things which seem 'important'

Movement meditation is a way of moving through life.
