THE BELLOWS BREATH

The Bellows Breath (Stimulating Breath), is an invigorating breathing technique which influences a higher state of awareness, promoting fresh energy and alertness.

This exercise is subtle at first, yet gains power with gradual repetition.

Visualize it

I'm sitting upright with my legs crossed, eyes closed, body relaxed, and mouth closed.

before i start, i understand that i will be inhaling and exhaling at a shallow, equal, and rapid rate, through my nose.

on a new breath, i start inhaling and exhaling quick & Shallow through my nose, my diaphragm is rapidly expanding and contracting while performing this exercise; i complete 3 inhalation-exhalation cycles per second.

I continue this breathing technique for 60 seconds; after i'm finished, i take a few moments to bring my breathing back to a relaxed pace.
